Cherry Street Pier is The Delaware River Waterfront arts hub and artist incubator space. With 14 shipping containers turned artist studios, Cherry Street Pier, which just celebrated its 5th anniversary season, recently welcomed a new cohort of incredible artists from diverse mediums. The Pier will also be an incubator space for culinary artists this season. We are thrilled to introduce an exciting new concept at Cherry Street Pier, La Placita at Cherry Street Pier.
In collaboration with DRWC, the incredible team from James Beard nominated Cantina La Martina, La Placita at Cherry Street Pier will feature three concepts, each housed in their retrofitted trolley. La Placita is a concept that brings summer vibes to Cherry Street Pier in Latin Quarters throughout Latin America and the Caribbean. It has street foods, cocktails, local artists, music, and dancing. Cantina la Martina will offer Mexican street food, La Placita will offer some Puerto Rican chinchoreo favorites, and Irv's Ice Cream will provide fun ice cream flavors that align with that Latin vibe.

Some menu highlights are:
- Guacabori - Green plantain/guacamole/guava balsamic/farmers' cheese
- Canoas - Whole sweet plantain/ground beef, picadillo/ mozzarella cheese
