Pier 68, located at the end of Pier 70 Boulevard at the Delaware River, opened in 2015 as the third park to be completed by DRWC. Like the other parks along the Waterfront, Pier 68 has its own distinctive character. It highlights the tidal ecology of the river, creates a space for catch and release fishing, and encourages visitors to take in the views of the river.
Pier 68 is open year-round, seven days a week from dawn until dusk. Fishing is encouraged, and all anglers must abide by the rules and regulations set out by Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission. All fishing requires a proper PA license. Fishing licenses can be purchased online, by mail, or in person at local retailers including Walmart (1675 South Columbus Boulevard) and Nelson’s Messenger Service (1632 Columbus Boulevard).
