Your Philly Winter Tradition!
For more than 33 seasons, Independence Blue Cross RiverRink Winterfest has been Philadelphia's favorite wintertime tradition on the Delaware River Waterfront. It invites visitors to indulge in flights of fancy under thousands of sparkling lights in a wonderland with spectacular views of the Delaware River.
Get cozy in a heated cabin or by a fire pit, or enjoy boardwalk rides and games for the young and young-at-heart. Delicious food, hot beverages, the signature holiday tree, and ice skating on our NHL-sized rink await you. Winterfest is a top destination for anyone looking to rekindle family traditions. We are open from November 27, 2026, through February 28, 2027, 7 days a week, including holidays, unless otherwise noted.
The site is open to the public and free to enter. You can reserve amenities such as ice skating, cabins, fire pits, the Rinkside Lounge, and special event rental experiences in advance.
On-site parking will be limited, but there are many great ways to access the Waterfront, including walking and biking along the Delaware River Trail, rideshare, and public transit. To ensure a seamless visit, guests can visit DRWC’s Know Before You Go guide for parking recommendations, directions, FAQs, and more.
