Independence Blue Cross RiverRink Winterfest is back for its 32nd season, now through March 1. And although the site looks a little different, your favorite amenities are back and better than ever.
To help you plan your visit to the Delaware River Waterfront this winter, here are the top five things you need to know before you go. These tips are handy to ensure you have the best time in Philly’s favorite winter wanderland.
#1 We're Open Now - March 1
Open seven days a week, including all major holidays, Independence Blue Cross RiverRink Winterfest is free to come, hang out, and enjoy the sights. Skating, rides, games, fantastic food, and seasonal drinks are pay-as-you-go. Join us through March 1 for festive fun. Bonus: Independence Blue Cross members receive free skate admission for themselves and up to four guests (maximum savings of $20) with proof of card.
#2 We're on Penn’s Landing
Independence Blue Cross RiverRink Winterfest is still at 101 South Columbus Boulevard, Philadelphia, PA 19106, on Penn’s Landing. The site moved just a little further north, and the layout has changed (download our cool map) because of the exciting construction on the new 11-acre Penn’s Landing Park, but all your favorite winter traditions are back for the 32nd season. If you don’t know, the newPenn’s Landing Park is a groundbreaking public space coming to the Waterfront soon. #3 Parking at Independence Blue Cross RiverRink Winterfest is Limited. Plan.
Due to construction at the new Penn’s Landing Park, visitors may encounter detours, increased traffic, and limited on-site parking. Guests can check out DRWC’s ‘Know Before You Go’ guide for parking recommendations, directions, and FAQs to ensure a seamless visit. Think of this as your one-stop resource for the best way to access your favorite winter amenities.
Please note: additional parking near the Waterfront is available at Old City Garage at 2nd and Sansom Street and Independence Mall on 5th and 6th Streets.
#4 Independence Blue Cross RiverRink Winterfest Tickets Sell Fast
Winterfest has the best winter experiences in Philly.
