Monday through Wednesday: Closed
Thursday: 4:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Friday: 4:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Saturday: 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM
Sunday: 11:00 AM – 10:00 PM
 

General admission to the park is free and open to the public; food and drinks are available for a pay-as-you-go fee. SSHP is a dog-friendly site. However, dogs are not permitted on the barge or in the hammocks. Please note: All activities close at least 30 minutes before the park's closing time.

• Memorial Day (May 26),  11 am - 10 pm
• Juneteenth (June 19), 11 am - 10 pm
• July 3, 11 am - 10 pm
• Independence Day (July 4), 11 am - 5 pm
• Labor Day (September 1), 11 am - 10 pm​​​
• Homecoming 250 (Navy Band + Fireworks), 4 pm to 10 pm

Concession Hours

The park has various concessionaires. At least one concession stand is open during the park's operating hours. Please note: Most vendors will open at approximately 4 p.m., but hours for some vendors may vary.

The Trading Post Store and Visitor Center

• Thursday: 4 pm-9:30 pm
• Friday and Saturday: 1 pm - 10:30 pm
• Sunday: 1 pm - 8 pm
