The Delaware River Waterfront Corporation (DRWC) is seeking responses from existing established businesses and reputable entrepreneurs with a background in the food service industry to oversee a daily culinary operation at Spruce Street Harbor Park (SSHP).
Envisioned as a destination that blends music, entertainment, art, wellness, and hospitality, Spruce Street Harbor Park makes for excellent summertime memories on the waterfront. With its longstanding, reputable history of showcasing cuisine from Philadelphia’s most popular restaurants and chefs, we see a diverse audience across all demographics -- including families spending the day on the waterfront, date nights, friends meeting for a drink after work, or office workers enjoying lunch outside. The park features colorful hammocks, floating gardens, technicolored lights, and beautiful city views. Admission into the park is always free and open to the public.
The Lazy Hammock, an exciting new development within Spruce Street Harbor Park, was introduced in the summer of 2024. Back for its second season, The Lazy Hammock is a community-driven public space and performance venue featuring a covered full bar, a 20-foot stage, and a jumbotron. Weekly, reoccurring programming, watching parties, watching movies, dancing, and more are always on the schedule. Learn more about SpruceStreetHarborPark.com.
