Count the number of hammocks in Spruce Street Harbor Park. Don’t be deceived; there are more than you think. Look high, look low, as you stroll the park. Everyone can play!

 

Participants who guess the correct amount will be in the running for the grand prize- a Riverside Lounge Rental for up to nine (9) guests and one (1) drink comp per guest.

The contest runs from July 21 to July 31. A winner will be selected and announced by August 7.

Whether at the park or following along on social media, here’s how to participate: 

1. In-Person Participation:

• Visit the Trading Post store and visitor center across from the Cruiser Olympia to get a contest entry form.
•  Take a stroll and count as many hammocks as you can find.
•  Please write down your best guess on the entry form and submit it at the Trading Post to win the grand prize of a Riverside Hammock Lounge for you and up to nine (9) friends.
• As a thank you for your submission, on National Hammock Day - Monday, July 22, 2024—those who submit their guess will receive (1) complimentary mini-golf pass to Independence Blue Cross RiverRink Summerfest. 

2. Social Media Participation:

• Follow us on Instagram @sprucestreetharborpark.
• Comment on our contest post, which will go live on Sunday, July 21,  with your best guess of how many hammocks you think are in the park for a chance to win the grand prize.

3. Online Participation

• Please fill out this form with your guess for a chance to win our grand prize.

Terms and Conditions:

• For these Terms and Conditions, "The Delaware River Waterfront Corporation” is referred to as DRWC and whose Instagram handle is @sprucestreetharborpark. The "Prize" refers to a Riverside Lounge rental for up to nine (9) at Spruce Street Harbor Park to be redeemed before Sunday, September 29, 2024.

• By entering this sweepstakes, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. All entries must be received by **midnight EST** on July 31, 2024. DRWC will randomly select one (1) winner from Pennsylvania by August 7, 2024, and the winner will be notified on or after this date.​

• The DRWC sweepstakes, which can be entered via Instagram or in person, is open only to residents of Pennsylvania. One (1) winner will be chosen at random from all entrants.

• No purchase is necessary. Winners will not be required to pay to enter the sweepstakes.

• Entrants must be over 18 years old on their entry date, and children under 18 must have an adult present.

• Employees of DRWC are not eligible to enter.

• Instagram, X.com, and Facebook are not affiliated with or involved in the sweepstakes.

• Only one entry per person per sweepstakes will be accepted.

• Each entrant shall enter the sweepstakes via Instagram by commenting on the correct guess of hammocks under the specified post by @sprucestreetharborpark, following this Instagram profile, or submitting a form online or on-site at Spruce Street Harbor Park.

• The prize will be awarded to a randomly selected winner who has entered the contest on Instagram, in person, or online using a random number generator. DRWC will not be held liable if the named prize becomes unavailable or cannot be fulfilled.

• DRWC will not be held liable for the failure to receive entries. DRWC takes no responsibility for lost, delayed, illegible, corrupted, damaged, incomplete, or otherwise invalid entries.

• To the extent permitted by applicable law, DRWC’s liability under or in connection with the sweepstakes of these terms and conditions shall be limited to the cost price of the Prize in question.

• To the extent permitted by applicable law, DRWC shall not be liable under or in connection with these terms and conditions, the sweepstakes, or any Prize for any indirect, special, or consequential cost, expense, loss, or damage suffered by a participant even if such cost, expense, loss or damage was reasonably foreseeable or might reasonably have been contemplated by the participant and DRWC and whether arising from breach of contract, tort, negligence, breach of statutory duty or otherwise.

• Prizes are non-negotiable, non-transferable, and non-refundable. No cash alternative is available. If a Prize becomes unavailable, DRWC reserves the right to substitute it for a prize of equal or higher value.

• If requested, DRWC must receive the winner's name, address, email address, and phone number, which will be shared to enable the Prize's fulfillment.​

• In the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond DRWC’s reasonable control, the promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the sweepstakes or these terms and conditions, either in whole or in part, with or without notice.

• DRWC’s decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.

• After the winner has been selected, the DRWC social media profiles may post the winner’s name and social media username.
