A privately owned section of trail between Reed and Tasker Streets in South Philadelphia, near 1401 S. Columbus Boulevard, will close for construction related to the adjacent development.
The Delaware River Trail will remain open, but access in this area will be affected. Southbound trail users will be detoured at Reed Street to Columbus Boulevard. Those traveling north from Pier 68 will not be able to continue through the closure area and will need to turn around.
The property owner is finalizing its construction schedule and the anticipated closure duration. DRWC will share additional information about impacts to trail access as details become available.
