In the coming weeks, visitors may notice some changes along the Delaware River Trail between Washington and Reed Streets. The adjacent property owner, in coordination with the City’s Office of Homeless Services, will begin a clean-up of the piers and surrounding property and will install new fencing along the Waterfront to create a safer barrier between public areas and sections of the bulkhead identified as unsafe.
DRWC is working closely with partners to ensure access remains open and accessible, though some waterfront edge areas will be temporarily limited. These improvements are part of ongoing efforts to enhance safety, maintain public access, and plan for future repairs along this section of the Waterfront.
