Join our bar operations team!

We are currently seeking bartenders and barbacks (seasonal/part-time) to join the Independence Blue Cross RiverRink team, Philadelphia's premier outdoor skating rink and seasonal attraction. Punctuality and effective communication are essential. Restaurant experience is a plus, but not required.  This hourly position offers a base rate plus eligibility for tips. 

Punctuality and a high level of professionalism in all aspects are required. Candidates must be 18 or older to apply. Days, nights, weekends, and holidays may be required as necessary. Actual work hours can vary. 

For the summer, availability from May through September is required; for the winter, availability from November through March is required.

• Maintain a stocked bar and replenish supplies throughout service.
• Provide support for your team members throughout the service.
• Exercise good judgment and intuition to anticipate guests’ needs.
• Take the initiative to connect with guests and ensure their satisfaction. 

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• RAMP Server Seller Certification.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Responsible and punctual.
• Courteous, friendly personality, and professional appearance.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Must be available to work nights, weekends, and most major holidays.
• Ability to meet physical and scheduling demands of the position (walking, standing, lifting items over 25 lbs).
