Homecoming 250 Weekend at Spruce Street Harbor Park

Celebrate 250 years of the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps right on the Delaware River Waterfront. From October 9 to 13, Spruce Street Harbor Park will be the place to see the Navy250 Parade of Ships and enjoy a weekend filled with activities, live entertainment, and family fun. Free and open to the public. All ages welcome.
Event Highlights
Thursday, October 9
Morning Parade of Ships — watch Navy and Coast Guard vessels sail along the river.
Olympia Gun Salute — the Independence Seaport Museum’s Olympia, the world’s oldest floating steel warship, will fire her Triple 6-Pounder Gun to welcome the ships. Access to Olympia is included with General Admission and is free for Museum members.
Friday, October 10
Sailor’s Swing with Rittenhop, 7 PM – 10 PM
Saturday, October 11
Build a Boat with PopUpPlay, 1 PM – 4 PM
NavyNight at the Movies: Top Gun + Top Gun: Maverick, 6 PM – 10 PM
Sunday, October 12
Create a Giant Sea Creature with PopUpPlay, 1 PM – 4 PM
Orchestra 2001: Brass Quintet, 3 PM – 6 PM
Monday, October 13
Navy band and fireworks, 7 pm (fireworks to follow at 8 pm)
Extended Ferry Service
The RiverLink Ferry will offer extra service from October 9 to 16, connecting Philadelphia and Camden, allowing you to catch all the Navy250 festivities.
Join us for a once-in-a-lifetime celebration of history, culture, and community on the waterfront.
Parking on-site will be limited due to I-95 CAP construction. However, many great ways to access the Waterfront include walking and biking along the Delaware River Trail, rideshare, and public transit.
