Wood Street Steps
The Wood Street Steps are the last remnant of a series of public staircases mandated by William Penn to ensure public access to the waterfront through a compromise with landowners in 1694. The steps are a symbol of the tremendous city planning history in Philadelphia, as well as a reminder that the Delaware River's bank once reached Water St. at this location.

Go Vertical
Go Vertical is one of Philadelphia's only indoor rock gyms. Climbers of all experience levels can climb on over 250 routes ranging in difficulty levels. The gym, located in an old warehouse, features classes, parties, and plenty of sports comraderie Policies Everyone who visits the gym must complete our Go Vertical waiver form upon entering the facility for the first time.
