All exhibitions and events are free and open to the public unless otherwise noted.  First Friday dates: January 3, February 7, March 7, April 4, May 2, June 6, July 4, August 1, September 5, October 3, November 7, and December 5.

Sistah Soul Series, First Fridays, 7 pm
The Sistah Soul Series is a free, live music event featuring local independent vocal artists from diverse musical genres. It is hosted by Shekhinah B. of The Women’s Coalition for Empowerment, Inc. RSVP for Free.

Opening: “Mondo Cane” by Jonathan Santoro, Next Door at Race Street Pier, 5 pm to 7 pm
Experience Mondo Cane, a large-scale outdoor sculpture by Philadelphia artist Jonathan Santoro, was created for Race Street Pier. Set in the waters of the Delaware River, this thought-provoking piece explores big emotions like fear, sadness, and uncertainty—feelings many of us share during times of change. Free and open to the public. All ages.

Understories: A Termite TV Collective Exhibition
Understories is a bold new exhibition by the Termite TV Collective, Cherry Street Pier studio artists known for their creative, community-driven approach to video and multimedia art. Featuring experimental films and audiovisual installations, this immersive exhibit invites you to see the world through a different lens—one that breaks rules, asks questions, and opens minds.

Ticketed: Art History Create and Sip, First Fridays, 7 pm – 9 pm
Join resident artist Amy Kelly (Studio 8) for a lesson about an artist from history and then paint a work inspired by their medium. Contact Amy at 47earrings@gmail.com. The class is held from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.—registration is required. Must be 21+ to consume alcohol.

Artist and Artisans Market, First Fridays, 4 pm – 9 pm
Support local artists, creatives, and entrepreneurs at the Artist and Artisans Market. Pick up one-of-a-kind finds at this one-stop shopping experience.

 

Open Studios
You can also see the Pier’s resident artists at work in their studios and purchase original artwork.

Concessions
Enjoy bites and sips from our local food vendors.


Parking on-site will be limited due to I-95 CAP construction. However, many great ways to access the Waterfront include walking and biking along the Delaware River Trail, rideshare, and public transit.
