Erik Alfredo's "Land of Time (Tierra del Tiemp)" in partnership with PHLAFF
06/06 – 06/28
Join us for Erik Alfredo's "Land of Time (Tierra del Tiemp)" in partnership with PHLAFF on display June 6 through June 28 with a special opening reception on Saturday, June 7 from 8 pm to 10 pm. All ages. Free and open to the public.
Land Of Time / Tierra del Tiempo is an animated audiovisual installation that portrays the passage of time through the contemplation of four specific movie theatres from different moments in the history of the Dominican Republic. By re-interpreting the movie-going experience into the observation of cinemas as places, they might be able to tell the story of how the city, its culture, and its landscape change over time.
Parking on-site will be limited due to I-95 CAP construction. However, many great ways to access the Waterfront include walking and biking along the Delaware River Trail, rideshare, and public transit. To ensure a seamless visit, guests can visit the ‘Know Before You Go’ guide for parking recommendations, directions, FAQs, and more.
