Where's the best place to park?
Parking on-site will be limited due to I-95 CAP construction. However, many great ways to access the Waterfront include walking and biking along the Delaware River Trail, rideshare, and public transit. To ensure a seamless visit, guests can visit DRWC’s ‘Know Before You Go’ page for parking recommendations, directions, FAQs, and more.
How do I purchase tickets for ice skating?
Guests can reserve
ice skating tickets in advance. Skating is available 7 days a week, including holidays.
Is there a discount for Independence Blue Cross members?
All Independence Blue Cross (IBX) cardholders and employees can receive up to four (4) free skating admission tickets with proof of card (skate rental not included and can be purchased separately at the box office). To redeem, the cardholder must present an IBX membership card on-site. Photo ID must be presented upon request to match the name on the IBX membership card. Accepted member cards include Medicare, Medicaid, Keystone, Personal Choice, and AmeriHealth.
The facility reserves the right to deny skating entrance if the above conditions are not satisfied for IBX skating admission tickets.
Do you have restrooms available?
Yes. Restrooms are available on-site.
How do I purchase tickets for games?
Arcade games and the Ferris wheel are pay-as-you-go. Cash and credit cards are accepted.
Can I still visit the site, even if I don’t want to skate?
Winterfest is free and open to the public. It offers ice skating and other on-site amenities, including pay-as-you-go food and drink, boardwalk rides and games, and a retro arcade.
Is Winterfest open in inclement weather?
Our team monitors the weather and posts updates on social media and
RiverRink.com in the event of inclement weather.
Do you provide ice skating discounts?
In addition to free skating admission for Independence Blue Cross members, we provide free skating admission for students with valid IDs and military personnel with valid IDs. Skate rental is not included in all discounts—
review for additional information.
Do you provide refunds?
For ticketing inquiries, please contact our ticketing partner, Showclix, directly at 1-888-718-4253. For general ticketing inquiries, please contact our team at
riverrink@drwc.org.
If your ticket purchase can’t be honored on the day and time it was purchased, our team will be in contact with other options.
You can adjust your ticket for another date/time of equal value via the self-service ticket exchange option on your Showclix account. Again, tickets can be exchanged, but they must be the exact value and quantity of the initially purchased tickets.
You may also contact Showclix at 1-888-718-4253 or email the Winterfest team at riverrink@drwc.org. Please note that these methods may take 3-5 business days for replies due to volume.
Can I purchase tickets on-site?
We strongly encourage visitors to reserve
ice skating tickets in advance. Tickets sell out; there is no guarantee that they will be available once guests arrive at the park. However, if tickets are available when guests arrive on-site, they may be purchased at the box office.
Can I rent a locker?
Yes. Lockers are available for rent for $1 in the skate rental area.
Can I rent skates on-site?
Yes. Ice skates are available to rent on-site for $12 and are sanitized after each use.
Can I bring my skates?
Is group ice skating available?
Yes. Group skating is available. The group skating rates are as follows:
- $14 per person for groups with 15-50 skaters
- $13 per person for groups with 51+ skaters
- $12 per person for groups with 100+ skaters

What are the food and beverage options?
Can I bring food and beverages to the site?
No outside food and beverages are allowed on-site. Food and drinks can be purchased from our
amazing vendors.
Can you bring large bags and diaper bags to Winterfest?
Large bags and diaper bags are allowed on-site. However, security will complete bag checks at all Winterfest entrances. No weapons, including firearms or explosives such as fireworks, are permitted at any DRWC parks. For more information,

Are dogs allowed on-site?
Dogs are allowed on-site but not inside the Lodge, skate rental area, warming cabins, or the Rinkside Lounge. However, service animals are welcome.
Are wheelchairs allowed on the ice rink?
Our team can assist those who want to be wheeled onto the ice. Please contact us at
