When are the parks open?

Cherry Street Pier, Pier 68, Washington Avenue Pier, and Race Street Pier are open year-round. The RiverLink Ferry, Blue Cross RiverRink Summerfest, and Spruce Street Harbor Park typically open May through September, and Blue Cross RiverRink Winterfest typically operates November through March. For specific hours, please visit the individual park pages.
 

How do I get to the parks, and where do I park?

Parking at the Waterfront is limited, and we strongly encourage visitors to take public transportation, bike, walk, and rideshare when possible. Learn more about the best ways to get to the Waterfront and the best parking locations near Penn's Landing.
 

Are the parks ADA-compliant?

All of the parks are ADA-compliant and have parking available. 


Are public restrooms available?

Visitors can access public restrooms along Penn’s Landing at the following locations:
  • Cherry Street Pier (year-round during operating hours)
  • Independence Blue Cross RiverRink (seasonal)
  • Spruce Street Harbor Park information center (seasonal)

May I bring my food and beverages?

Outside food and beverages are allowed at all parks except Blue Cross RiverRink Summerfest and Winterfest, and outside alcohol is not permitted at any of the parks. 
 

May I bring my chairs and blankets?

Please do! We encourage visitors to kick back and relax along the Waterfront. Note that any items left unattended will be removed. Review our event guidelines to learn more.
 

Are dogs allowed on the Waterfront?

Yes! We encourage visitors to bring their dogs as long as they are leashed. They are allowed in all parks. Some areas may be off-limits to animals. Refer to staff and posted signage when on site.
 

Do you have wifi?

The waterfront has free Wi-Fi at all of its parks.
 

Is there heating or air conditioning at the Waterfront?

All parks are outside venues and do not have heating or air conditioning. Artist studios at Cherry Street Pier are conditioned. Access may be limited based on the artists' studio hours. 
 

Is fishing allowed on the Waterfront?

Currently, fishing is encouraged at our fishing pier, Pier 68. It is also permitted between Race Street Pier and Cherry Street Pier and the area adjacent to Washington Avenue Pier  - Washington Avenue Green. 
 

How do I vend or perform at one of the parks?
