Jazz Summer Nights at Spruce Street Harbor Park

Join us on Fridays in August for the return of Jazz to the Waterfront. Each Friday, join us for a free jazz concert at the Lazy Hammock bar and stage at Spruce Street Harbor Park. The event is open to the public. All ages are welcome.

Band 2 - Open Jazz Jam

Celebrate the heart and soul of Philadelphia’s jazz scene at Jazz Summer Nights, a free concert series spotlighting the city’s diverse community of jazz artists. Each Friday in August, the waterfront comes alive with the sounds of two dynamic bands per night, featuring a mix of rising stars and seasoned performers from across the region.
 
The series wraps up with a performance from the Jack St. Clair Orchestra, a 17-piece big band, followed by an Open Jam Session where local musicians are invited to take the stage. Throughout the month, expect special guest performers enhancing this celebration of jazz, culture, and community.

Parking on-site will be limited due to I-95 CAP construction. However, many great ways to access the Waterfront include walking and biking along the Delaware River Trail, rideshare, and public transit.
