The Waterfront Arts Plan is a framework for DRWC and its partners to operationalize the Waterfront Arts Program and begin commissioning public art, documenting opportunity sites and translating the values the community identifies as themes they would like to see emerge in creative works along the Delaware riverfront.
This plan was developed by DRWC, Philadelphia-based Interface Studio, and Oakland-based Hood Design Studio over an 18-month public art and programming engagement process with the goal of establishing a sustainable and community-guided platform to reshape how the Delaware River Waterfront is experienced through creative works. The Waterfront Arts Plan and Pilot Project are funded by the William Penn Foundation. Special thanks is due to the Steering Committee who acted as stewards of the process.
