We are closing out the incredible WXPN Welcomes Waterfront Sessions music series with Philly-based alternative-rock band Mo Lowda and the Humble on August 29, a show that won’t disappoint.
Often compared to Kings of Leon, Mo Lowda and the Humble is the perfect complement to hammock hangs and cold sips as we prepare to welcome autumn. Come early and jump-start the evening with mixes by DJ Breakfast starting at 6:30 pm.
Every Thursday this summer, tap your toes and groove to jams by some of Philly’s finest artists. After a long day of work or play, enjoy a carefully crafted musical experience, while enjoying a $5 beer special from our beer garden.
6:30pm - 8:30pm: DJ Set by DJ Breakfast

About Mo Lowda
Mo Lowda began with 3 high school kids. Those kids all ended up at the same college in Philadelphia, PA, where other kids wanted them to play at their basement parties all the time. So, they did. ALL the time. They are no longer kids. Two Full-length albums (2013, 2018) and an EP (2016) later, Mo Lowda & the Humble now average 100+ tour dates a year, nationally and internationally, including festivals like Firefly, Peach Fest, Mountain jam, and more. When they are not on stage, they are laughing. Sometimes even when they are on stage, they are laughing. The band is slated to release their third full-length in early 2020. The event is free and open to the public.
