DRWC is seeking proposals from prospective restaurateurs, restaurant groups, artisan food vendors, or individuals including emerging culinary artisans to lease space and operate high-quality food and non-alcoholic beverage concessions within Spruce Street Harbor Park and/or other DRWC-operated parks (pending availability) for the Summer 2024 season.

RFP submissions should reflect how the vendor will:

  • Provide a concept with a distinctive experience that will cater to residents and visitors.
  • Draw new and diverse audiences to the Delaware River Waterfront and create unique food offerings through the culinary arts.
  • Foster collaboration with artists, local vendors, and emerging culinary artisans.
  • Participate in waterfront events and programming
  • Collaborate with DRWC, other restaurateurs/concessionaires, and program staff to create and support compelling, artistically, and culturally diverse events that showcase the local Philadelphia arts and culture scene. 

Timeline Request

  • Released on March 18
  • Submit questions and site visit requests to sshp@drwc.org by March 25, 2024, by 5:00 PM E.S.T.
  • Proposals are due by 5:00 PM E.S.T. on April 1, 2024
  • Vendor(s) selected by approximately mid-April 2024
  • Food concession program to commence approximately mid-May 2024 for Summer Season 2024
