WHAT: The Delaware River Waterfront Corporation (DRWC) opened Cherry Street Pier, as a vibrant community space and artist hub, on October 12, 2018. What was once an old municipal shipping Pier that stood vacant for many years prior to its transformation, has become a staple in the Philadelphia arts community playing host to hundreds of exhibitions, installations, markets, and events since it opened 5 years ago.
