When is Independence Blue Cross RiverRink Summerfest open? What are your hours?

We are open through September 24, 2023, 7 days a  week, including holidays. Please note that all activities, including the RiverRink, close 30 minutes before the park closes. Review our hours of operation.

How do I purchase tickets for roller skating?
Guests can reserve skating tickets in advance. We encourage visitors to spread out their visits and choose a time that works best for them.
 
Do you have restrooms available?
Yes. Restrooms are available on-site. They are sanitized frequently to ensure guests have a safe and comfortable experience.
 
How do I purchase tickets for games?
Tickets for games and rides can be purchased on-site. Cash and/or credit cards are accepted.
 
Can I still visit the site, even if I don’t want to skate?
Independence Blue Cross RiverRink Summerfest is free and open to the public with roller skating and other on-site amenities, including pay-as-you-go food and drink. Due to limited capacity, guests who do not have roller skating reservations may not be permitted on-site once we reach capacity.
 
Is Independence Blue Cross RiverRink Summerfest open in inclement weather?
Our team monitors the weather and posts updates on social media and RiverRink.com in the event of inclement weather.
 
Do you provide refunds?
For inquiries regarding ticketing please contact our ticketing partner Showclix directly at 1-888-718-4253. For general ticketing inquiries please contact our team at riverrink@drwc.org.
 
In the event that your ticket purchase can’t be honored on the day and time, it was purchased, our team will be in contact with other options. 
 

You can also adjust your ticket for another date/time of equal value via the self-service ticket exchange option on your Showclix account

You may also contact Showclix directly at 1-888-718-4253 or email the Winterfest team at riverrink@drwc.org. Please note that due to volume, these methods may take 3-5 business days for replies.

Can I purchase tickets on-site?
We strongly encourage visitors to reserve ice skating tickets in advance due to limited capacity. Tickets are expected to sell out in advance and there is no guarantee tickets will be available once you arrive at the park. However, if tickets are available when guests arrive on-site, they may be purchased at the box office.
 
Can I rent a locker?
Yes. Lockers are available for rent for $1 in the skate rental area. 

Can I rent skates on-site? 
Yes. Roller skates are available to rent on-site for $10 and are sanitized after each use. 
 
Can I bring my own skates?
Yes. Guests may bring their own skates; they are still required to pay the price of skate admission ($5).

Can I host a private event?

What are the food and beverage options?
Philadelphia favorites Chickie’s & Pete’s and Skelly’s Amusements, offer tasty eats like CrabFries®,  funnel cake, and other tasty treats. Seasonal libations, craft beers, and other creative cocktails are also available for guests 21+. Review menus and food vendor hours.
 
Can I bring outside food and beverage to the site?
No outside food and beverages are allowed on-site. Food and beverages can be purchased at Chickie’s & Pete’s, and Skelly’s Amusements.
 
Are dogs allowed on-site?
Dogs are allowed on-site but are not permitted inside the Lodge, skate rental area, or the warming cabins.
