The Delaware River Waterfront is open, accessible, and excited to welcome visitors to explore, bask in, and enjoy its fantastic offerings, including MORE of what they have come to love along the 6-mile stretch of Waterfront from Oregon to Alleghany Avenues.

The Delaware River Waterfront is open, accessible, and excited to welcome visitors to explore, bask in, and enjoy its fantastic offerings, including MORE of what they have come to love along the 6-mile stretch of Waterfront from Oregon to Alleghany Avenues. 

Construction on the I-95 CAP project is underway, but visitors don't have to wait for the new Park at Penn's Landing to enjoy the Waterfront's offerings. They can experience them now and in many new and exciting ways.

In this four-part video series, “Delaware River Waterfront: Discover MORE,” DRWC partnered with Wooder Ice to showcase how the Waterfront is offering MORE food, free fun, exciting spaces, markets, and music to visitors seasonally and year-round, as construction on the Waterfront continues.

Jay the Gentlemen of Wooder Ice, tours the Delaware River Waterfront to showcase the vibrant music scene at two premiere destinations - the Lazy Hammock at Spruce Street Harbor Park and Cherry Street Pier. He chats with two local artists -  Shekhinah B . of The Women's Coalition for Empowerment, Inc., and James Everhart of the band Cosmic Guilt, as they share why performing on the Delaware River Waterfront not only provides incredible vibes but allows them to connect with new audiences and build community where they live.

Jay the Gentlemen of Wooder Ice, tours the Delaware River Waterfront to showcase all its amenities and MORE. From fun at Independence Blue Cross RiverRink Summerfest - the Waterfront’s festival with boardwalk games and rides; to live entertainment and markets at Cherry Street Pier and Spruce Street Harbor Park to scenic rides along the Delaware River Trail to access fantastic food and drinks at Waterfront eateries and piers, the Delaware River Waterfront has it all.

Jay the Gentlemen of Wooder Ice, shops at some of the specialty markets that pop up on the Waterfront throughout the year - Liberty Flea at Spruce Street Harbor Park, El Mercado Cultural in collaboration with Fleisher Art Memorial and the Artist and Artisans Market during First Friday both at Cherry Street Pier. 

Jay chats with Walter Weber of the Captain’s Vintage and organizer of Liberty Flea, who shares why the Delaware River Waterfront is an excellent location for markets and more. Shopping works up a thirst. The Waterfront serves refreshing drinks and amazing views to enjoy as you stroll.

Jay the Gentlemen of Wooder Ice, stops by three delicious food vendors along the Delaware River Waterfront, where he samples their offerings and talks with the purveyors about what makes the Waterfront so unique for small businesses like theirs. Hear from Chef Jacob Trinh of Little Fish; Jay Bennett of Sundae Palace by Somerset Splits, both located at Spruce Street Harbor Park; and Mariangeli Alicea Saez of La Placita Cherry Street Pier, co-owner along with her husband Chef Dionicio Jimenez of the James Beard-nominated Cantina La Martina.

Spruce Street Harbor Park typically operates May to September. Cherry Street Pier is open year-round; 7-days-a-week.
