The Delaware River Trail Dedication
Join us for the dedication of the central segment of the game-changing Delaware River Trail on Friday, April 29 at 10:30 am, at the entrance of Cherry Street Pier. The trail provides you with more than three miles of continual multimodal access to explore all the amazing amenities along the Waterfront. The dedication will be a celebration of this groundbreaking milestone as envisioned in the Master Plan for the Central Delaware, and all the amazing partners that helped make it a reality. 


The Return of Blue Cross RiverRink Summerfest and Spruce Street Harbor Park
Some of your favorite summertime destinations, Blue Cross RiverRink Summerfest and Spruce Street Harbor Park return on Friday, May 6. Gather your favorite people for fun in the sun on opening weekend.

Groove and glide across the largest outdoor roller rink in Philly at Blue Cross RiverRink Summerfest. Savor mouth-watering eats and refreshing drinks. Hit the Midway for mini golf, carnival games, and much more.

Plus, kick back in a colorful hammock, under a canopy of trees, draped in technicolored lights at Spruce Street Harbor Park. A time-honored tradition, enjoy local brews and summer cocktails on The Barge Oasis as you soak in the sweeping views of the Penn’s Landing Marina.

BONUS: The RiverLink Ferry returns on Saturday, May 7 for weekends and special event service. During opening weekend, hop aboard the Ferry for unbeatable views of the Philadelphia skyline. The Delaware River Waterfront Promenade
Don’t miss a night to remember at the Delaware River Waterfront Promenade on Wednesday, June 8 at Blue Cross RiverRink Summerfest. Stroll the Pier, the creative hub on the Philadelphia Waterfront, while enjoying amazing art exhibitions, artist studios, and tasty eats and sips from French Toast Bites and The Garden. Not to mention, this lineup of fantastic events, with many more to be announced!

  • Introducing the Public Orchestra of Philadelphia on April 8 through April 10. 
    Enjoy three back-to-back performances by The Public Orchestra, a newly founded orchestra established by Rehearsing Philadelphia, which seeks to represent the cultural and sonic diversity of Philadelphia and challenge western concepts of what a symphony orchestra can be, look, and sound like.

    This multimedia performance explores the “invisible” forces that bring ballet to life featuring two back-to-back performances on April 29 and April 30, with a banner installation on display through May 24.
