Join us for the Philadelphia Caribbean Festival as part of the PECO Multicultural Series on Sunday, August 21, 2022. FREE AND OPEN to the public.


Join us at the Great Plaza at Penn's Landing from 12 pm to 8 pm for The 36th Annual 2022 Philadelphia Caribbean Festival featuring authentic island sounds of reggae, roots international beat, soca, cool jazz, gospel, and creative dances complemented by a marketplace of Caribbean fashions and exotic cuisine from jerk chicken, rice and peas, curried goat and chicken, codfish cakes, Caribbean slaw, and more. Plus, attendees can enjoy the Caribbean Children’s Village with face painting, bead-making, balloon sculpting, and bean bag games.  
 
Featured performances will include Kenny Sykes (Jazz), Julius (Soca), Timi Tanzania Faith & Favor Gospel Band (Gospel), Unity Vibrations Band (Roots Rock Reggae), and Image Band (internationally known, from Washington, D.C.). The Festival will be MC'ed by DJ Scripture (WKDU 91.7 FM).
