Delaware River WATERFRONT

Kensington Methodist Episcopal Church, fondly known as Old Brick Church, was founded in the early 1800s by a group headed by John Hewson, a local Kensington Revolutionary War hero. The church is still open and services are held every Sunday.

 

The Old Brick Church is the oldest church in Kensington (and Fishtown).
