The closest parking lots are located at Market Street or Vine Street and Columbus Boulevard. There are other parking lots and street parking along Columbus Boulevard and in nearby Old City.
Can I bring in my own food and drinks?
We have amazing food vendors who you should visit! If you decide to bring your own food, we do not allow personal coolers in the Pier. We also carry a variety of great cocktails, wines, and craft beers in certain sections of the Pier. No outside alcohol is allowed.
Can I bring my dog?
Dogs are welcome in the park as long as they’re on leashes.
Does the Pier have public wifi?
Yes! Cherry Street Pier has free public wifi.
Does the Pier have heating and air-conditioning?
No, the Pier is an unconditioned space. That being said, in the summer months we can roll up all the glass doors, and in the winter months we can close them. The artist studios are each fully conditioned. So, if you're coming in the fall/winter, we'd suggest that you bring some layers so that you can spend more time hanging out.
Can I fish at Cherry Street Pier?
We do not allow fishing at Cherry Street Pier. Anglers are invited to fish at Pier 68 in South Philadelphia.
How can I become a vendor at the Pier?
We're currently accepting applications for people who are interested in vending on one day or throughout the season. If you're interested in being a part of one of the many markets, please reach out to the organizers to apply for a vending spot.
Can I go into the artists’ studios?
Be respectful of the artists-in-residence—this is their creative space as well. Please do not enter the studios or interrupt their work unless you are invited in.
How do I become an artist-in-residence?
Our first cohort of artists were chosen using internal and external committees after an open call for applications. The applications are now re-opened online and will be considered on a rolling basis as studios become available.
Can I rent the Cherry Street Pier for an event?
There are different areas within the Pier that will be available for rentals for special events, parties, and happy hours. However, we will not host weddings. Cherry Street Pier is a public space and we will not close down the Pier completely for a private event. We will be posting a rental form on the website shortly
