The Delaware River Waterfront Corp (DRWC) has teamed up with Keep America Beautiful to implement the Cigarette Litter Prevention Program right in the heart of Penn’s Landing.
Together, these two organizations have installed thirty new cigarette trash receptacles along the Waterfront, and will be embarking on outreach and education focused on the environmental damage caused by cigarette litter. The waterfront is used by hundreds of thousands of people each summer, and these receptecles are already clearly making an impact.
