Citizens for a No-Kill Philadelphia
Citizens for a No-Kill Philadelphia, a local animal welfare advocacy organization, will host its Fourth Annual 'With Love: Super Adoption Day' on May 18 from 11:00am - 4:00pm at the Walnut Street Plaza at Penn's Landing. This event will once again be one of the largest adoption events in Philadelphia history, and will join together area shelters, rescue partners, vendors and special guests to encourage pet adoption and promote awareness for our region's homeless animals. Join us for a day of fun for the whole family!
On the 3rd Saturday of the month, the Seaport Museum hosts a hands-on family program with a maritime theme.
Come down to the waterfront for a great view of the Camden Rivershark's post game fireworks show. A great way to cap off a night out at the water on Penn's Landing or the Race St. Pier
The Cirque du Soleil show TOTEM traces the fascinating journey of the human species from its original amphibian state to its ultimate desire to fly. The characters evolve on a stage evoking a giant turtle, the symbol of origin for many ancient civilizations. Inspired by many founding myths, TOTEM illustrates, through a visual and acrobatic language, the evolutionary progress of species. Somewhere between science and legend TOTEM explores the ties that bind Man to other species, his dreams and his infinite potential. TOTEM, from Cirque du Soleil, will be in town for a limited run or performances at the Camden Waterfront from May 30 – June 23
