For a taste of Philadelphia's global cultures, head over to Penn’s Landing for the PECO Multicultural Series, a succession of ten, free, outdoor festivals that celebrate the food, dance, music, and activities that make this such a diverse and interesting city.

Islamic Heritage Festival (Saturday, June 16th)
The Islamic Heritage Festival and Parade begins with the Unity in Diversity Parade and culminates in the annual Islamic Heritage Festival, featuring family-friendly games, speakers, a health and wellness fair, free giveaways, entertainment and a global open market bazaar.

Juneteenth Festival (Saturday, June 23rd)
Juneteenth is a celebration of freedom fought and freedom won, ending slavery in the United States. Philadelphia Community of Leaders have expanded the Philadelphia Juneteenth Musicfest and Parade into a two-day celebration this year, starting with a wreath-hanging ceremony on June 22nd and ending with a parade, festival, children’s village, and market place at Penn’s Landing on the 23rd.

Philadelphia Irish Festival (Sunday, June 24)
Celebrate Ireland’s cultural gems with great music, dancing, and food. Enjoy performances from notable Irish musicians, famous dance schools, bagpipers, and more.

Concilio's Hispanic Fiesta (Saturday July 7th - Sunday July 8th)
The Hispanic Fiesta at Penn’s Landing is one of Philadelphia’s premier Latino events. The festival continues to unite and raise awareness of Latino culture and community through the celebration of music, dance, entertainment, ethnic foods and artisan crafts from nearly all Latin American countries.

ACANA African Festival (Sunday, August 5, 2018)
The ACANA African Festival is an outdoor concert experience that brings artists, groups, and dance troupes from around the African continent to perform at Penn's Landing. The festival allows visitors to try African foods while dancing, shopping for traditional and modern crafts, and listening to great music.

Festival of India (Saturday, August 18th)
The annual Festival of India hosted by the Council of Indian Organizations (CIO) of Greater Philadelphia celebrates India’s Independence Day while highlighting the vibrant Indian American community. The free festival is a colorful panorama of art, music, dance, and cuisine.

Caribbean Festival (Sunday, August 19th)
Guests can celebrate the culture, music and food from across the Caribbean islands during the annual Caribbean Festival at Penn’s Landing, one of the longest-running PECO Multicultural Festivals. Past festivals have featured Caribbean workshops, children’s corners, marketplaces, and music.

Blue Corn Green and Organic Festival (Sunday, September 2)
The Blue Corn Green and Organic Festival is a cultural effort to gather communities from all walks of life under a common awareness theme that supports the need for promoting a sustainable lifestyle that fuses old traditions with new ways of living.

Brazilian Day (Sunday, September 9th)
Celebrate Brazilian Independence Day with Samba, Forro, Pagode, Capoeira, Samba-Reggae and more. Enjoy the wonderful culture and traditions of Brazil with an abundant variety of authentic traditional foods and merchandise, and performers who light up the stage with the contagious rhythms and dances. 

Mexican Independence Day (Sunday, September 16th)
Guests can celebrate Mexican Independence with music, food, dancing, and more. Browse traditional arts and crafts, dance with Mexican rock bands, and enjoy kids activities during the popular event at Penn’s Landing.

SEPTA Bus Routes 21 & 42 stop at The Great Plaza at Penn's Landing and Blue Cross RiverRink Summerfest at the Chestnut Street turnaround. Routes 17, 33, & 48 stop at Front and Market Streets. Route 12 stops directly at Spruce Street Harbor Park Presented by Univest/Valley Green Bank at Columbus Blvd and Dock Street. Route 25 runs along Columbus Blvd. 

Take the SEPTA Market-Frankford Elevated Line (the Blue line) to the Second Street Stop. From there, head East over the Market Street Bridge. The Blue Cross RiverRink and Great Plaza at Penn's Landing will be straight ahead. 
The Philly Phlash is the quick, inexpensive, easy connection to key destinations throughout Center City, Philadelphia. Hop on and off at 20 stops for easy and convenient access to the city's most popular sites, including Penn’s Landing, the Philadelphia Zoo, Please Touch Museum, Eastern State Penitentiary and the Benjamin Franklin Parkway.  Click here for the full list of stops or visit for tickets and more info. The RiverLink Ferry stops at Columbus Blvd and Walnut Street, next to the Independence Seaport Museum and next to the Adventure Aquarium in Camden. The RiverLink Ferry runs on a regular schedule May 22 - Labor Day, seven days a week with expanded service during peak times and festivals. Please check the website for more information. Runs seasonally.
Bike parking is located along the waterfront with a large corral located at Spruce Street Harbor Park Presented by Univest/Valley Green Bank. 
Philly's bike share program, Indego, has four easy-access stations within walking distance. These include: The Race Street Pier (190 N Christopher Columbus Blvd), 2nd and Market (215 Market St.), Welcome Park NPS (191 S. 2nd St.), and Foglietta Plaza 3 Dock St.
Take I-95 South to Exit 20 (Columbus Boulevard/ Washington Avenue). Exit to left, stay in left lane, and make a left at the end of the ramp onto Columbus Boulevard. The Residences at Dockside will be on your right. Remain straight for approximately ½ mile. Enter Great Plaza parking lot on right at Walnut Street or Market Street (Blue Cross RiverRink). 

Take I-95 North to Exit 20 (Columbus Boulevard/Washington Avenue/Penn’s Landing). At the end of the ramp, make a left onto Columbus Boulevard.  Remain straight for approximately 1 mile. Enter Great Plaza parking lot on right at Walnut Street or Market Street (Blue Cross RiverRink). 

From Ben Franklin Bridge Stay in the right lane. At the end of the bridge, make a quick right on the 5th Street Exit. Follow 5th Street to Spring Garden Street, and make a right. Follow Spring Garden Street 5 blocks to Columbus Boulevard. Continue another ¼ mile and the Great Plaza will be on your left. Enter on left at Market Street (Penn’s Landing) or Walnut Street.

Take 76 East to the Central Philadelphia Exit (676 East/Vine Street Expressway Exit). Follow  676 East to 95 South (Chester/ Philadelphia Int’l Airport). Follow 95 South to Exit 20 (Columbus Boulevard/Washington Avenue). Follow directions from the north.
