Looking for a part-time, seasonal job in a festive work environment? Then apply to be part of the Independence Blue Cross RiverRink team. Earn great work experience in a fun atmosphere. We're looking for box office cashiers and guest service representatives, skate rental representatives, and skate guards.

Potential Candidates for any department must be able to able to work effectively within a team-oriented and dynamic environment. Should you be selected, you will be required to be cross-trained with other departments if necessary. 

Punctuality and a high level of professionalism in all aspects is a requirement. Candidates must be 17 or older to apply. Days, nights, weekends,  and holidays may be required as necessary. Actual work hours can vary. 

For the summer season, availability from May through September is required; for the winter season, availability from November through March is required.

Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in high-volume, customer service-related, and/or hospitality-related environments. 

Starting salary is $12/hour.
 

Box office Cashier and Guest Services Representative 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Abide by and assist all guests to comply with pandemic mitigation procedures for the health and safety of everyone
  • Greeting and welcoming guests
  • Selling tickets on a Showclix-based POS system
  • Accepting order payments via cash or credit cards
  • Counting in/out register drawer
  • Courteously answering guest questions
  • Wristband guests with coded wristbands
     

Skate Rental Representative

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Abide by and assist all guests to comply with pandemic mitigation procedures for the health and safety of everyone
  • Greeting and welcoming guests
  • Collecting and validating skate rental tickets
  • Wristband guests
  • Renting skates to guests
  • Assisting guests with putting on skates as necessary
  • Collecting skates at the end of sessions
  • Courteously answering guest questions


Skate Guard

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Abide by and assist all guests to comply with pandemic mitigation procedures for the health and safety of everyone
  • Greeting and welcoming guests
  • Verifying guest tickets for admission entry
  • Monitoring rink conditions while skating
  • Experience with skating and braking is required
  • Ensuring guests are skating safely
  • Courteously answering questions
  • Reporting all injuries in compliance with established protocols
