Call for Proposals: 2026 Flag Exhibition

Calling all artists! The Delaware River Waterfront Corporation is now accepting submissions for its 2026 flag exhibition at Spruce Street Harbor Park—16 selected artists will have their large pennant flags produced and displayed along the Waterfront, with production covered and a $300 honorarium included. Deadline: November 15.

The Projects

Park at Penn's Landing

A New Waterfront is on the horizon. Construction is underway on the new Park at Penn's Landing. PennDot is replacing and expanding the covered section of I-95 at Penn’s Landing along the Waterfront under the department’s $329 million I-95/CAP project. The two main components of this project are the construction of a new 11.5-acre Park at Penn’s Landing and a new South Street pedestrian bridge.

For more than 32 seasons, Independence Blue Cross RiverRink Winterfest has been Philadelphia's favorite wintertime tradition on the Delaware River Waterfront. It invites visitors to indulge in flights of fancy under thousands of sparkling lights in a wonderland with spectacular views of the Delaware River. Opening November 28, 2025.
